Glitterbox is an art collective based in Ithaca, NY. The four original members are Ashley Connor, Charles Woodard, Jake Forney and Miranda McCue, but we are open to expansion. GlitterBox creates arts and crafts, photography, film, happenings, performances, music, digital art and any other forms of artistic yells that emphasize our belief in the importance of play. We think that playing can be much more productive and important than is commonly believed. We attempt to expand notions of what can be considered art by creating works with a DIY, playful or lo-fi aesthetic. Glitterbox asks the question: Why stop playing?
